Why wouldn’t you study abroad if you’re a college student? Once you graduate, it’s a lot trickier in the “real world” to go abroad for more than a week or two at a time. Tell your boss that you’d like a few months in Spain or New Zealand, and she will laugh at you. Or fire you. But in college it’s expected and can easily fit into your curriculum. And your parents can help pay for it. Live off your parents as well as you can while you’re in college… If they’re helping pay, take advantage of their investment, and do cool things and have great adventures on their nickel.
